Written by Audrey Cabrera | Above photo courtesy of BI Barkery
The COVID-19 outbreak has changed practically every aspect of our lives including how we shop. While it's easy to hop on our computers and order everything online, keeping our local pet stores in business is critical. If you're ready to restock, here's an update from a few of our favorite neighborhood pet stores, so you can keep shopping local.
As everybody is advised to stay in their homes and stock up on supplies for the COVID-19 pandemic, you should also include your dog's essentials to your checklist.

Homemade Dog Food Tips

CityDog Magazine
As the COVID-19 continues to affect more and more areas, dog lovers are worrying about possible pet food shortage. What could be a nice, healthy alternative, then?
Given the current situation, if there's anyone that would feel happy since the whole family's home—it's your pooch.

Out Spot!

Working from home can become challenging, especially if your dog always reaches out for a play session. Avoid interruptions by keeping her busy. These toys and chews are "pawesome" for passing time!

CityDog Magazine

All About Pet Deposits

CityDog Magazine
If you're planning to live in a dog-friendly apartment, you might as well prepare a pet deposit before you move out.
While you may always think about owning a cute little dog for your small apartment, size is no longer the only thing you have to consider.

Getting ready to move out with your dog? While you may simply search for the nearest available rentals in your area, know that it's not enough. Your pooch should love the place too.

There's not a problem that we could share about living with dogs, but finding dog-friendly apartments near your area can be daunting.

CityDog Magazine
With the recent outbreak of coronavirus in Washington State (and the nation, for that matter), dog lovers are wondering, “Can my pet test positive for COVID-19 and if so, are they contagious?”
Harmful parasites such as fleas are unwelcome, invading Fido's skin, coat and even our own homes. Save your canine friend from itchiness and possible health risks by using the best flea prevention products on our list!
